See which practice stopped ordering before it told you.

Dental practices order consumables every few weeks, often through one person. When that person leaves or a buying group calls, the orders stop without a word. Signal Base flags the missed interval.

What normal looks like

every two to six weeks

A two-chair practice orders every month, a group practice every week, an orthodontist every six weeks. The hub learns each interval and the usual basket.

The four signals, in your trade

One line per customer on the call list, with the strongest reason. This is how they read for dental practices, orthodontists and dental labs.

  1. Past its own rhythmOn the list: Orders every 4 weeks. Last one 10 weeks ago.

The customer usually orders every three weeks and it has been five. The hub compares each customer with their own habit, not with a fixed number of days, and only lists the ones worth the call.

What you say: “We haven’t had your order since the summer. Has someone new taken over the ordering?”

  2. Smaller ordersOn the list: Monthly as always, 40% less per order.

They still order on time, but structurally less per order. Often it means another supplier now gets part of the list.

What you say: “Your orders are smaller lately. Are you getting the gloves through a buying group now?”

  3. A product drops outOn the list: Impression material off the order for 8 weeks.

One product or a whole category has stopped showing up on otherwise normal orders. That is a cross-sell conversation, not a rescue.

What you say: “You stopped ordering impression material. Did you move to a scanner?”

  4. New customerOn the list: First order 2 weeks ago.

The first order just went out. A call in the first two weeks is when a one-off becomes a regular.

What you say: “How did the first delivery go? Shall I set up a repeat order for the basics?”

What else it watches for you

  1. Who to call today

One line per customer with the strongest reason, and the customer card behind it: what they buy, when they order, their price agreements and their open invoices.

  2. Money that is late, and money that is coming

Outstanding amounts by age and by customer, and the expected payments per day.

  3. Webshop and ERP, side by side

Webshop and ERP prices compared per item, so practices ordering online see the price they agreed.

Seasons

Holidays close practices for weeks at a time. That quiet is part of their rhythm, and each practice is measured against its own year.
