See which farm started buying its feed elsewhere.
Farms reorder feed, seed and supplies on a beat set by the animals and the season. When a farm moves to another supplier, the first sign is a late order. Signal Base flags it while the relationship can still be saved.

What normal looks like
every one to four weeks
A dairy farm orders feed every two weeks, a pig farm weekly, an arable farm in seasonal bursts for seed and crop care. The hub learns each rhythm, including the seasonal ones.
The four signals, in your trade
One line per customer on the call list, with the strongest reason. This is how they read for dairy, pig and arable farms, and contractors.
Past its own rhythmOn the list: Orders every 2 weeks. Last one 7 weeks ago.
The customer usually orders every three weeks and it has been five. The hub compares each customer with their own habit, not with a fixed number of days, and only lists the ones worth the call.
What you say: “We haven’t delivered feed since August. Is the herd out on the grass, or did something change?”
Smaller ordersOn the list: Same rhythm, 40% less per order.
They still order on time, but structurally less per order. Often it means another supplier now gets part of the list.
What you say: “Your feed orders got smaller. Did you reduce the herd?”
A product drops outOn the list: Minerals off the order for 7 weeks.
One product or a whole category has stopped showing up on otherwise normal orders. That is a cross-sell conversation, not a rescue.
What you say: “You stopped ordering minerals from us. Can I quote this month’s price?”
New customerOn the list: First order 10 days ago.
The first order just went out. A call in the first two weeks is when a one-off becomes a regular.
What you say: “How did the first delivery go? Could the truck reach the silo?”

Seasons
Sowing, harvest and the grazing season move the volumes. Each farm is measured against its own year.
